Location

San Pedro de Atacama is located in the II Region of Chile, 61 mi from Calama (the nearest city and airport), in the Chilean highlands near the borders of Bolivia and Argentina, and 1,040 mi north of Santiago. The road between San Pedro de Atacama and Calama is a paved and in good condition, and passes through beautiful desert landscape.
