Introduction

El Marques Hotel Boutique is located in a XVII century colonial house, and made part of a packages of house with walls and door ways of equal height to the ownership of Conde Casa Pestagua.

In the 70´s, the house was acquired by the well know New York art collector and filmmaker, Sam Green, who was among the first foreigners to buy property in the historic center of Cartagena de Indias, he made it famous for it festivals, which had as main guest large celebrity jet set of New York as: Greta Garbo, John Lennon, Yoko Ono and some members of Kennedy Family.

Architecture: Recognized the unique value of their original century XVII tipology. Currently, the house retains the Spanish colonial houses infrastructure of the time, their floors, walls, columns, stairways, balconies and gates.
