Location

The Patios de Cafayate Hotel & Spa is located on the same grounds as the state-of-the-art El Esteco Winery. The vinery and its vineyards are located in the Calchaquíes Valleys, at more than 1,700 meters above sea level. Its strategic location, optimal height, great thermal amplitude (100Fº maximum and 53Fº min. in the summer), stony and sandy ground, and proximity to mountain water generate a unique microclimate which is ideal for growing grapevine.

Cafayate is home to an ample range of vineries, which offer guided excursions to taste the excellent and varied wines, among which the famous Torrontes wine stands out. The harvest of the grape takes place in the month of March. The entire town enjoys this time because it is the culmination of a year's worth of work and they are grateful for the generous gift from the earth.

There are a great number of other attractions in the town of Cafayate. Discover the architectural wonders of the Cathedral.
